Waking from Sleep by Steve Taylor
Suggests that our normal consciousness is really a kind of 'sleep' from which we sometimes 'wake up', into a more intense and complete reality. This title provides what is perhaps the explanation of higher states of consciousness, or 'awakening experiences'.
The author's mind is imbued at all times with the higher faculty of spiritual awareness-- Eckhart Tolle The most enlightening book about enlightenment I have ever read. -- Ervin Laszlo One of the best books on spiritual awakening I have ever come across. An important contribution to the shift in consciousness that is happening on our planet at this time. -- Eckhart Tolle Makes an elusive and complex subject easily comprehensible to the reader...His [Steve Taylor] enthusiasm is tangible and infectious. Kindred Spirit Magazine Taylor has created an experience for the reader that is wonderful... The book has a lovely appeal and seems to almost generate the feeling of the awakened experiences that are described so beautifully. Journal of Transpersonal Psychology
