Ji-min Lee is an award-winning screenwriter and novelist from Seoul, South Korea. She made her literary debut as the winner of the 2000 Munhakdongne Writer's Award for her novel Modern Boy, which was later adapted into a 2008 film of the same name. Her work first appeared in English in 2019 with the publication of The Starlet and the Spy, translated by Chi-Young Kim. Paige Aniyah Morris is a writer and translator from Jersey City, New Jersey. The recipient of awards from the Daesan Foundation, the Literature Translation Institute of Korea, the American Literary Translators Association, and the Fulbright Program, she is the translator of works by writers including Seo Jang-won, Chang Kang-myoung, Pak Kyongni, and the co-translator with Emily Yae Won of Han Kang's forthcoming We Do Not Part.
