Her story has been featured on Dr. Oz, as well as in Associated Press, Richmond Times Dispatch, Cosmopolitan magazine, and Dallas Morning News. Smith writes a weekly column for The Washington Times, and she has testified before Congress. She lives in Richmond, Virginia.
