Jody's plays have been staged in Ashland, New York, San Francisco, Chicago, and Los Angeles. Tribal Life in America, her full-length play, earned the Ebell Playwrights Prize and was produced at the historic Ebell Theater in Los Angeles. Jake Savage, Jungle P.I., a one-act she wrote with her partner David Wolf, earned the New Generation Playwrights Prize. She is a communications professor at Mendocino College in Northern California and possesses a master's degree in professional writing from the University of Southern California.
