Winston Williams, who was born in 1935, has been sober since 1976. He worked as a senior advertising executive and freelance writer and photographer, most notably for National Geographic, after sailing around the world. He went on to become a commercial boat captain and has spent most of his time assisting alcoholics in recovery. He is the father of four grown children, as well as twelve grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. He lives in Naples, Florida, and is looking forward to the future.
