What's Your Favorite Food? by Eric Carle

Everybody has a favourite food. Some enjoy sweet treats like rich honey or ripe, juicy berries. Others prefer the savoury comforts of warming matzo ball soup or creamy chicken Alfredo. With beautiful illustrations and charming personal stories, fourteen children's book artists share their favourite foods and why they love them.
Erica Carle is an independent researcher and writer. She has a B.S. degree in occupational therapy from the University of Wisconsin. She has been involved in radio and television writing and production in the Twin Cities, and has also taught math and composition at the private school her children attended in Brookfield, Wisconsin. For ten years she wrote a weekly column, Truth In Education for WISCONSIN REPORT, and served as Education Editor for that publication. She has written articles which were published in CHRISTIAN ECONOMICS, THE FREEMAN, and OLD NEWS. Erica has read sociology books from those of its founder, Auguste Comte, to the present day. She has attended teachers' conventions, seminars and workshops. She has interviewed school board members, teachers, parents, and students. She has testified before the Wisconsin State Legislature and local school boards, city councils and county boards. She and husband, Carl, have three grown children and eight grandchildren. Many of her articles can be found on the internet, and appear frequently on Newswithviews.com
