Victoria is a Ph.D. holder. on English literature and has instructed reluctant college students in composing. Currently, she works as a freelance writer/editor, teaching business writing to eager office workers and attempting to give voice to the diverse cast of people in her imagination. She lives in Virginia with an overly affectionate cat, two children who are discovering how much fun Austen's characters can be, and a husband who is thankfully not Darcy-envious. Victoria, a lifetime Jane Austen lover, has read more Jane Austen adaptations and sequels than she can count, and admits to a strong preference for Colin Firth's Pride and Prejudice miniseries.
