Why Grace Changes Everything by Chuck Smith

Grace. It's a word we all love to hear, but do we really know what it means? Without it, our lives are dry and dusty, but when grace comes, it transforms our lives into something rich and beautiful.

Chuck Smith is a resident director at Chicago's Goodman Theatre, where he has directed The Story, Proof, Bessie Smith's Death, The Gift Horse, The Amen Corner, A Raisin in the Sun, Blues for an Alabama Sky, Ma Rainey's Black Bottom, A Christmas Carol, and The Meeting. Smith is also a professor at Columbia College in Chicago's Theater Department. Seven Black Plays: The Theodore Ward Award for African American Playwriting (Northwestern, 2004) is his edited collection.
