Kristy Grant-Hart, the founder and CEO of Spark Compliance, is a known expert in turning compliance departments into valuable business assets. She is the author of How to Be a Wildly Effective Compliance Officer and the Wildly Strategic Compliance Officer Workbook, both of which have received critical acclaim. She has provided worldwide compliance advice to Fortune 500 firms and has built and revised compliance systems for large companies in Europe and the United States. Kristy is a dynamic and motivating public speaker that delivers keynote speeches to companies and conferences all around the world. Kristy's essays on compliance and ethics program optimization, anti-bribery, and data privacy and security rules have appeared in periodicals and trade media in the US and Europe.

She taught Global Compliance and Ethics as an adjunct professor at Delaware Law School, Widener University. Kristy was a finalist for the Women in Compliance Awards' Chief Compliance Officer of the Year award in 2015, and she was also a finalist for the Compliance Innovator of the Year award in 2017. Kristy was the Chief Compliance Officer of United International Pictures, the joint distribution organization for Paramount Pictures and Universal Pictures in 65+ countries, before founding Spark Compliance. Kristy began her legal career with Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher, an international law company, where she worked in both the Los Angeles and London locations.

Her team was nominated for Thomson Reuter's Compliance Awards for Best Regulatory Law Firm of the Year while at Gibson Dunn. Kristy earned a summa cum laude degree from Loyola Law School in Los Angeles.
