A.W.Tozer's lasting passion was the subject of worship. In his first recording on the theme he says, 'I want to explain why we were created and why we are here ...that we might worship God and enjoy him forever. A minister in the Christian & Missionary Alliance from 1919-1963, Dr Tozer wrote many books of which The Pursuit of God is most famous. Nearly half a century after his death in 1963 his books are still widely read and appreciated. James Snyder is pastor of a C&MA church in Florida and author of a widely-syndicated weekly column. He is the biographer of A. W. Tozer.
