Wendy Xu received a Ruth Lilly Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation in 2014 for her book YOU ARE NOT DEAD (Cleveland State University Poetry Center, 2013). Her work has appeared in a variety of publications, including The Best American Poetry, Poetry, Guernica, Gulf Coast, jubilat, and others. She teaches writing at CUNY and resides in Brooklyn.
