Abigail Mails A Snail is a cute story that stemmed from a conversation Steve had with his granddaughter, Abigail. During a break after a long block of reading, the started to make up a story. Abigail became the main character and discussed various animals. The animals had to rhyme with Abigail, so Snail was born. Then they had to figure out once Abigail had a snail what she would do with Snail. So, she decided she was going to mail her snail to her Grandpa and Nonna. Off they went and the story took shape.
