Ally Morgan is in love, and not with just anybody - she's fallen for Stevie: good-looking, talented, popular and unattainable, Stevie Manns. But Ally hasn't just fallen for the boy next door: Stevie is the lead vocalist in Five - Britain's boy band phenomenon. Still, Ally knows that she and Stevie are meant to be together. His lyrics had to be written just for her. They share a unique bond, they think alike, they want the same thing, if only they could meet then Stevie would definitely fall for her. Definitely...So when Ally's mum gives her tickets for the next Five concert in Birmingham, and her dad books them into the same hotel that Five are staying at, Ally seizes her chance. She and best mate Paulie gatecrash the post-gig party. Posing as PR girls, they get into the penthouse suite at the top of the hotel...where, finally, Ally gets to meet the love of her life. Only Stevie isn't quite what she expected. He's really nice, but he seems sort of shy and quiet. He chats to Ally, but his world is so different to hers. His last girlfriend was a model for goodness' sake! Ally suddenly realises that she got it all wrong.
