About Annie Fox

Sonya Hale has had plays performed at The Southbank Centre, Latitude Festival, E15 University and in prisons and treatment centres. She has worked with Synergy Theatre Project, Clean Break Theatre Company and Outside Edge Theatre Company. Rehearsed readings of her first play Glory Whispers were performed at Theatre503 after winning Synergy Theatre Project's national prison scriptwriting competition. Her monologue play Dean McBride was a finalist in the inaugural Heretic Voices competition, and was performed at the Arcola Theatre, London, in 2018. Annie Fox trained as an actor in New York and at LAMDA. Under the name Andrea Browne, she worked in theatre, film, television and radio. She also taught English and Drama in London schools. She now writes educational books for several publishers. Her debut play, Woman Caught Unaware, was a finalist in the inaugural Heretic Voices competition, and was performed at the Arcola Theatre, London, in 2018. Tatty Hennessy is a writer and theatre director. Her writing for the stage includes: Something Awful (VAULT Festival, London, 2020); A Hundred Words for Snow (finalist in the inaugural Heretic Voices competition; Arcola Theatre, London, 2018); All That Lives and The Snow Queen. Short plays include Copycat and Distant Early Warning.
