About Joan R. Bloch

Joan R. Bloch, PhD, CRNP is Associate Professor of Nursing (tenured), Drexel University College of Nursing and Health Professions (Phila), Associate Professor of Nutritional Science, Drexel, and Associate Professor of Public Health, Drexel Univ School of Public Health (secondary appointment), USA. She has been actively involved in multiple university committees, serves as dissertation committee advisor, belongs to many professional organizations, including AWOHNN, NONPF, ANHE, APHA, ARHP, and STTI.

Maureen R. Courtney, PhD, APRN, FNP-BC, Associate Professor, University of Texas at Arlington School of Nursing, USA where she is responsible for teaching clinical research (DNP & PhD programs) and advanced role and clinical courses in the FNP curriculum. She is certified by the Johanna Briggs Institute in three areas: Conducting Quantitative Systematic Reviews, Qualitative Systematic Reviews, and Conducting Cost/Effectiveness Systematic Reviews.

Myra L. Clark, PhD, RN, FNP-C is Assistant Professor, Primary Care NP program, The University of Virginia School of Nursing, USA where she has taught for the past five years. She currently practices as an FNP at the Charlottesville Free Clinic. She is professionally active in many nursing organizations, including ANA, SNRS, AANP, NONPF, the Virginia Diabetes Council, The National Rural Health Association, among others, and is co-chair of the NONPF Research Special Interest Group.
