About Joan Sweeney
Joan Sweeney lives in Evanston, illinois. She has written nine books for children, including Once Upon a Lily Pad: Froggy Love in Monet's Garden, illustrated by Kathleen Fain and published by Chronicle Books. Leslie Wu has been illustrating for fifteen years. Her paintings have been exhibited in the United States and Japan and have won numerous awards. She lives in Lake Bluff, Illinois, with her husband and daughter. This is her first children's book with Chronicle Books.
