I know the stories in this book so well, I have been working on locating missing people for over 17 years, and I wanted the world to meet these courageous families and also to learn about the missing persons themselves, who they were, what happened to them, and to encourage the public to try to help find them. I wanted to base it around the theme of how their brothers and sisters took on the roles of searching for them, for decades, giving up their own lives and at great personal sacrifice to try to find answers.
