Here Comes Tod Summary

Here Comes Tod by Philippa Pearce

Carnegie Medallist, Philippa Pearce's stories portray the eventful days of a very lively little boy, Tod. If you saw Tod in the street, you could recognize him by his jumper. He has a red one and a blue one and both have a T on the front. His granny knitted them and sent them to him as surprises. She also sent him something even more surprising too, as these six read-aloud stories tell. Tod is fascinated by an enormous orange, joins a desperate search, has a visitor, makes a special birthday present and goes exploring. Philippa Pearce's other books include "Tom's Midnight Garden", "Minnow on the Say", "Emily's Own Elephant" and "The Battle of Bubble and Squeak", for which she won the Whitbread Children's Book Award.
