It is aimed at readers who are already familiar with the use of a personal computer, but who are new to WordPerfect in the Windows environment, yet want a concise introduction to the main features of this programme that will get them "up and running" as quickly as possible. Some readers may already be familiar with an earlier version of WordPerfect, or with other word processing software, but such prior knowledge is not assumed. It is assumed that Windows has already been installed in the reader's system, but prior experience with the Windows environment is not necessary.
