Repentance Summary

Repentance: Turning from sin to God by Thomas Boston

The most important message for every person is that of the need for repentance - by one of the last great Puritan preachers, Thomas Boston (1676-1732).
With wonderful exposition, Boston opens up a multitude of scripture passages on an issue that it is the duty of every Christian to tell the world of - the impending judgment that awaits each one of us, the call for repentance now, and a message of hope and assurance only to be found in Christ.

Repentance Reviews

To any who turn back in puzzlement as to why Boston's book should be rated a classic I say go back and read the book again and I can guarantee you will realise that you have not been wasting your time.

-- J. I. Packer ((1926 - 2020) Well known author & Board of Governors' Professor of Theology, Regent College, Vancouver, Canada)

About Thomas Boston

Thomas Boston held a pastorate with a very small Congregation in Simprin, Scotland until 1707. He was an extremely popular preacher, though self-effacing - considering that he had but small talents. Many of his sermons came to be published after his death at the age of 57.
