Sieben Bucher Morgenlaandischer Sagen Und Geschichten - Vol. I and II Summary

Sieben Bucher Morgenlaandischer Sagen Und Geschichten - Vol. I and II by Friedrich Ruckert

1837. No edition remarks. Unpaginated. Half bound brown leather with covered marbled paper covered boards. Bookplate belonging to Robert Earl of Crewe to front pastedown. Two books bound together, each paginated separately. Pages remain bright and clear with light tanning and foxing. Brown marking to pages throughout, text is not affected. Previous owner's pencil inscription to front free endpaper. Occasional thumb-marking present. Cracking to hinges, causing front board to be loose. Brown marking to text-block edges. Book remains tightly bound. Boards have moderate edge wear with bumping to corners and rubbing to surfaces. Leather peeling to all surfaces, with noticeable scuffing and scratches overall. Area of leather loss to spine. Splits to joints with exposed binding. Slight tanning to spine ends and edges.
