Pages are moderately tanned and foxed throughout, heavier at end-papers, paste-downs and text-block edges. Damp staining to text block top edge at the rear and top of front gutter. Cracking to gutters, with exposed binding thread at boards. Boards have heavy edge-wear with bumping to corners, crushing to spine ends and rub wear all over. Section of leather missing at head of spine. Gilt lettering is darkened.
