Occasional thumb-marking present. Previous owner's inscription and plates to front pastedown and free endpapers. Cracking to hinges with exposed binding. Light scuffing to text-block edges. Binding remains firm. Boards have heavy edge wear with bumping to corners and rub wear all over. Moderate splits to joints. Leather peeling to spine and corners, with noticeable scuffing and scratches overall. Notable tanning to spine and edges. Dark scuffed marking to all surfaces. Book is bowed and forward leaning.
