JASON WOOD is a freelance film consultant and a co-founder of Ion Productions Ltd. He has produced and directed documentaries on Krzysztof Kleslowski, Hal Hartley and Atom Egoyan. Previous publications include The Pocket Essential Hal Hartley (Pocket Essentials, 2003) and regular film articles for Enthusiasm Film Magazine and Vertigo. David Siegel and Scott McGehee are the writers-producers-directors of Suture, 1994 ('Official Selection' at Cannes Film Festival and Jury prize at the Toronto Film festival) and The Deep End, 2001 (selected for Director's Fortnight Cannes Film Festival). Both films won the best Cinematography Prize at the Sundance Film Festival. Together with Robert Nathan they formed an independent film production company, 15, in 1999.
