The idea for this book arose when she started reading books to her firstborn and found a lack of quality Urdu books for children. As a Pakistani parent living in an English-speaking country, she knew it was important that her children learn to connect with their Pakistani/Urdu speaking heritage at a young age. So, using her background in the fine arts and passion for the Urdu language, she meticulously crafted this children's book.
