Cunards first ship, Britannia, set sail across the Atlantic on 4 July 1840, inaugurating a service that has endured for 175 years. Cunards QE2 was a much-beloved liner and the most famous ship at sea, participating in the Falklands campaign and sailing more than 2.5 million miles during a 40-year career.Chris Frame and Rachelle Cross have shared a passion for cruise ships for most of their lives. Together they have written over a dozen books as well as articles and stories for magazines and newspapers. Both have appeared on TV news speaking about cruising, while Chris has featured as an expert for the BBC, Sky News and ABC.
