Owen Zupp is a best-selling novelist and aviation journalist. Owen was born into aviation as the son of a distinguished fighter pilot. His flying career has brought him from outback Australia to New Guinea's steep mountain ranges, Micronesia's picturesque islands, and over the world's oceans. He's worked as an airline captain, a Chief Flying Instructor, a Chief Pilot, and an Authorized Test Officer, which means he's been in charge of issuing and renewing pilot licenses and ratings. He has flown almost 100 aircraft types, ranging from two-seat trainers and biplanes to international airliners, as a qualified flight instructor for more than 25 years. Flying is more than a job for him; it's a hobby.
