The Syndicate, The by Nicholas Hagger
This highly topical and controversial work provides an alternative view of 20th century history. It describes the activities of a small group of men whose wealth and influence have been grossly underestimated. It gives the background to the war on terror, and points out the dangers in the increasing trend towards world government.
Nicholas Hagger is a historian, philosopher and man of letters. He has travelled extensively throughout the world. He was the first westerner to witness China's Cultural Revolution in 1966. He drove across Tripoli on the morning of the Libyan Revolution in 1969. He has visited the US, Europe and Russia several times, and has lectured at the University of Baghdad and been Professor of English for four years at Tokyo and Keio Universities in Japan. He has published 17 books on history, philosophy and literature. The present book has come out of his fascination with contemporary affairs, and over the years he has accumulated a vast library of published and printed sources. He has researched for many years into the New World Order and has spoken to many of the personnel involved, including the present Secretary General of the Bilderburg Group.
