He went to the Assembly of Protestants for the first time after returning from the service in 1992. He no longer attends church because he dislikes the meeting. Nonetheless, he continued to converse with one Christian believer, a young woman named Vera.
Many of his queries were answered by this female. Then, in February 1993, he got a package from overseas containing a Bible. Dmitri read the Bible from beginning to end several times before September 2000, but he did not attend church services. God, on the other hand, found him.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his Savior and was baptized. Dmitry has been volunteering with children at his local church since 2004. He has also supervised a chess group for children. But, on April 19, 2012, Dmitri began to have a unique contact with God in a prayer chamber.
He had a distinct calling to become a Christian writer within a few days.
