The front cover of this fully revised edition has a new corner flash with the words: FOR AREA COVERED SEE MAP INSIDE. The back cover has a coloured circular symbol which features our web site address. The Reference panel on page 1 shows a new colour scheme that depicts important buildings with different colour infills e.g. educational establishments have an orange infill and hospitals and hospices have a green infill. Roads that have restricted access are shown with a purple infill and pedestrianized roads have a pink infill. Fire Stations and Post Offices are shown by red squares and stars respectively, while Police Stations are represented by a blue triangle. Parking symbols are shown in blue. The scale is shown in metric as well as imperial. A larger and more open typeface has been used in the street index section for greater legibility.
