Abstract Alphabet by Paul Cox
Colourful organic shapes make up the letters of this unusual alphabet. In turn, these letters form the names of twenty-six different animals - one for each letter of the alphabet. Is it an ape? An ant? An antelope? A tiger? A turtle? A termite? Complete with a sturdy fold-out key, this mesmerizing menageric will have readers of all ages discovering words from A to Z.
Paul Cox was born in rural Arkansas. When he was ten years old, his family moved to California. There he had a successful athletic career, culminating as an NCAA Div. II All American in track and field at Cal St. Fullerton. After graduating there, Paul attended dental school in San Francisco and graduated in 1976. In 1994 he moved with his wife and two children to North Idaho. He is and avid outdoors-man and artist. Paul has ridden horses for twenty years and recently started raising buffalo. He presently lives on a twenty acre ranch just outside Sandpoint.
