Sheldon Smith has taught English for Academic Purposes (EAP) in the UK, Indonesia, and China since 2002. He has been working on route programs to prepare non-native English speakers for university study in Western universities, mostly in the United States, the United Kingdom, and Australia, since 2005. He is the author of various novels and text books for Chinese language learners, in addition to academic English textbooks. The EAPFoundation.com website was founded by him and he is the principal developer. He is currently based in Guangzhou, China's Guangdong province.
