Wighton, Sue: - Sue Wighton is a Brisbane-based freelance writer and singer. She has written video scripts and performed voice overs in a wide-ranging communications career that began in the classroom as a teacher. Sue retired in 2018 from her last gig, her workshop business - Write Well - teaching public servants to write in plain English. What a challenge! Sue likes to think of herself as an accidental writer - she wrote a weekly opinion piece for 'The Courier-Mail' (from 2011 to 2014). Sue is a well-known singer/songwriter around the Brisbane folk scene. She's passionate about words and music, and the power of songs to tell important stories.
