This book presents the 17 accepted papers of the International Symposium on Achievements, Milestones, and Challenges in Biomedical and Health Informatics (BMHI), held in Athens, Greece, on 29 October 2022. This event marks the retirement of Professor John Mantas, whose career in BMHI spans over 40 years, and a number of eminent colleagues from around the world were invited to present original review papers in their respective domains, not only to celebrate the work of Professor Mantas, but to review the achievements, milestones, and challenges of BMHI.
