Laura Petrisin is an educator who has worked as a children's writer, a curriculum writer, an illustrator, a teacher, a GED instructor, and an art instructor. She also owns her own publishing company called Press On. Laura has authored Government 101, Understanding the Electoral College, and Literature Guides for classics such as Little Women, Anne of Green Gables, Lassie Come Home, and The Swiss Family Robinson. She has co-authored a beginner reading series entitled Start Here, Go Far, published by Aston Publishing.
