Acrylic Color Explorations by Chris Cozen
Acrylic Color Explorations is as inspirational as it is instructional as Chris Cozen explores practical color basics through simple "stretching" exercises to determine the "voice" of the best colors to use in any creative situation. * Makes color theory engaging, easy-to-understand and fun while also engaging in the popular medium of acrylics! * It includes 30 stepped-out demonstrations and a surprise contributing artist for each chapter. * The instruction is appropriate for any style: abstract, floral, landscape, traditional, modern, etc.
Chris Cozen is a self-taught acrylic and mixed-media artist, author and workshop instructor. She has authored numerous books on acrylic techniques including, most recently, Acrylic Solutions (NL, Apr '13), which she wrote with Julie Prichard. Chris is trained as a Working Artist for Golden Artist Colors, Inc. in both technical information and application methods for acrylics. Her works are held in private collections throughout the US, Europe, and the Middle East.
