"This readable, practical, yet rigorous guide to action research is a must read for all who are interested in classroom- and school-based researchThis book contains all one needs to know about conducting an action research, from identifying a research topic to analyzing data to writing up an action plan for changing existing practice." -- Shelley H. Xu
"An outstanding resource to educators everywhere.  This is a book that will strengthen educational practice for teachers, administrators, university faculty, and anyone with a vested interested in student learning.  The book provides the foundation knowledge about research design in general (which I think is a vital piece) but takes the reader right to the specifics of action research. This is a great professional resource for teachers.  I would welcome the opportunity to use it with students." -- Jill C. Miels
