Summary
The feel-good place to buy books

The Adlard Coles Book of Outboard Motors by Melanie Bartlett
Aimed at boatowners rather than experienced mechanics, this book explains how even the most sophisticated of modern outboards use simple processes to convert fuel to power. A boon to anyone who puts to sea with an outboard engine. Includes rescuing an outboard dropped in the sea!
'Written by Tim Barteltt, the publication is written for boaters with no mechanical knowledge and throughout its pages aims to impart enough information to make you understand your engine - all in a jargon free lingo' * Sportsboat & RIB Magazine (April, 2011) *
'Tim Bartlett takes the reader under the cover of an outboard engine and explains in clear, jargon-free language how an outboard motor works and ow to look after it' * All at Sea (February 2011) *
'contains all you need to know to provide basic care, maintenance and trouble shooting for your power unit...written by respected marine journalist and engineering guru Tim Bartlett.' * Motor Boats Monthly (April 2011) *
'a valuable reference guide' * Sailing Today (May 2011) *
'Tim Bartlett has written yet another successful book in addition to his many technical manuals which is an essential reference for the serious sailor.' * Cruising Magazine (March 2011) *
'covers the full range of motors down to those that power yacht tenders...Its a reasonable introductory volume, for those who would normally panic and take their engine to a mairne engineer the minute it misbehaves.' * Sailing Today (May 2011) *
'Tim Bartlett does an excellent job in making the introductions and laying the foundations for a life-long, trouble free friendship. With wonderful colour pics and diagrams, and clear, simple language, he explains the complexities of both four and two stroke engines.' * www.sailingmag.com (May 2011) *
