John L. Vohra is Rakesh V.Vohra. He is also the Director of the Center for Mathematical Studies in Economics and Management Science at Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, where he is also Helen Kellogg Professor of Managerial Economics and Decision Sciences. He has taught at Ohio State University's Fisher School of Business, MIT's Sloan School of Management, and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School. He is the author of Advanced Mathematical Economics (2005) and Mechanism Design: A Linear Programming Approach (Econometric Society Monographs, Cambridge University Press, 2011). Professor Vohra graduated from the University of Maryland with a degree in mathematics.
