(www.bnetsys.net), an internetworking company focused on service provider MPLS. He has over 14 years of experience with data communications technologies and protocols. He has designed and implemented numerous large-scale WAN-switched, LAN-switched, and routed networks for service provider and enterprise customers worldwide. Recently, he participated in the architecture and led the implementation of AT&T's MPLS backbone network in South America. This is one of the first successful implementations of BPX WAN switches and LSRs in a production MPLS environment. He holds a B.S. in electronics engineering and is working on his master's degree in telecommunications. Mr. Alwayn is also an active member of the IEEE and IETF.
