Ingeniously interactive and delightfully different, this is an enchanting way for children to herald the season of giving and goodwill* Lancashire Evening Post *
A wonderful project with the kids to keep and make into a yearly tradition! * Colour with Claire *

A wonderfully interactive way for your child to count down the days throughout December. The advent calendar looks like a thick board book at first glance, with an attractive glossy cover depicting a colourful festive scene that will appeal to young children. On opening, the calendar folds out to reveal a wonderfully detailed four-page Christmassy street scene, with decorated shops, houses and lots of mice! These lovely illustrations are mainly in black and white, with the odd splash of colour thrown in, and offer children an array of pictures to colour in using pens or crayons. In addition, just like a traditional advent calendar, there are twenty-four numbered windows representing the countdown to Christmas Day. The windows come in a variety of shapes and sizes, and behind each is a further festive picture for your child to discover and colour day-by-day! The calendar can be stood upright when folded out so that your child can display their scene, and after completing it can be folded back up and stored safely...there is even a place for them to record their name for keepsake! * First4Dads *
Gives a child the opportunity to colour every day. It is printed on thick quality paper and makes a great keepsake. * Storysnug *
I’ve looked at lots of advent calendars this year...but this one has to be the most charming of the lot. Eventually on Christmas morning the picture will be complete and in full radiant colour courtesy of your little one’s artistic skills and is a treasure to keep forever. We loved it and it’s definitely the one for us! * Rock'n'roller baby blog *
This alternative and rather fabulous calendar from Usborne could not be more different. The pictures are part of a fabulous street scene filled to the brim with stockings and mice snowmen, trees, elves and gifts, it’s really detailed and there is so much to colour it is a delight. My daughter cannot wait to get started! * Book Reviews for Mums *
This year I have been given the best [advent calendar] I have seen to review. I think this is fabulous for any child that loves to colour but in addition for older children I think the scenes and pictures behind the doors provide as prompts for storytelling. I feel this is the perfect Advent Calendar for any child that is arty or stationary obsessed like I was as a girl. Priced at a very reasonable £5.99 I think this makes a great alternative Christmas Advent Calendar. * MultipleMummy blog *
