Barbara Moss holds a BS degree from St. Lawrence University and did graduate work at Cornell University. After a long career translating Russian scientific journals, she began writing and has published four books and numerous articles, many about cats, in magazines, and newspapers around the country. Her first book, Mo: Cat of My Heart, explores the life of an extraordinary cat and his tragic death. Proceeds go to veterinary research. Her first work of fiction is The Adventures of Sir Goblin the Feline Knight. She has written many children's stories, and The Two Brothers Detective Agency is a collection of some of those stories. Ms. Moss lives with her husband and cat in southeastern Massachusetts.
