Stevens, Maryanne: - Dr. Maryanne Stevens, RSM, became President of the College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska in 1996. Prior to her appointment there she was the first woman to be named as Chair of the Theology Department at Creighton University in Omaha, where she had taught since 1986. She serves on the boards of directors for Alegent Health, Creighton Preparatory School, University of Detroit Mercy, the National Conference for Community and Justice, and the Greater Omaha Chamber of Commerce. Dr. Stevens has a master's degree in Theology from St. Louis University and a doctorate in Religion and Education from Boston College.
