Nick Butterworth was born in London in 1946. Nick worked for several major London design consultancies vefore moving into freelance graphic design with Mick Inkpen. The two produced more than thirty highly acclaimed children’s books together. He now works on writing and illustrating children’s books from his studio in Suffolk. Percy the Park Keeper is his most famous creation.
