Mark Burgess has been creating children's books since 1979, following his graduation from the Slade School of Fine Art. He has also illustrated over five hundred greetings cards. His books are published by HarperCollins, Scholastic and Macmillan - but this is his first title for A&C Black. He lives in Taunton, Somerset.
