Ai Yori Aoshi by Kou Fumizuki
This volume starts out with the second Valentine's Day episode, in which Kaoru receives so much chocolate from everyone that he gets sick. Next, it's time for the flower viewing festival, and Kaoru and Aoi go ahead to find good seats for everyone. While they have some time alone, Aoi reveals another of the many ways she missed Kaoru in the several years they were apart. After everyone gets together and parties for a while, Tina gets a phone call from her parents in America, during which Mayu overhears her saying that she will go back to the States. Tina decides that she needs to make more memories, so she shows Kaoru her favorite place in Japan. Aoi sees the two of them together and starts to get a little jealous. She wants to spend time alone with Kaoru, but he keeps getting pulled into doing things with everyone else. Finally, Kaoru invites her to go to the store with him, and they run into Tina, enjoying the cherry blossoms for the last time. Mayu can't stand Tina's secrecy any longer and finally confronts her about going to America. Tina explains that she was talking about going back to America in the summer, leaving out the bit about how she won't be coming back to Japan. Later that night, Kaoru reveals that he would miss Tina when she's gone. Kaoru gets depressed because he wishes he could spend more time with Aoi, who finally pulls him aside and lets him kiss her. Next they all go out to play tennis, where it is revealed that Aoi knows how to play, and Kaoru realizes there's still a lot about Aoi that he doesn't know. Then they all go to the new bathhouse that's just opened. While all the girls are off having fun, Kaoru realizes that he doesn't enjoy bathing in public where everyone stares at his scars. He finally finds a private bath, where he thinks he can spend some time alone, until Tina and Aoi come in, not realizing the bath was occupied. While Kaoru is in hiding, he overhears Tina telling Aoi about how she had a hard time feeling like she belonged until she moved in to the Sakuraba's boarding house thingy.| SKU | Unavailable |
