The Alexandria Project by Stephan Schwartz

The Alexandria Project is the true story of how researchers from five universities and organizations went to Egypt to put the claims of a psychic ability known as Remote Viewing to the ultimate test. Was it possible, under rigorously controlled conditions, for some part of the human mind to locate and describe ancient sites known to exist, but now lost to history? How good was Remote Viewing when compared with electronic remote sensing technologies traditionally used by archaeologists? This book, and the research papers and film that accompany it, provides the surprising answers.

Stephan A. is a scientist, futurist, and award-winning author. Schwartz is a journalist for Explore magazine and the editor of the daily web portal Schwartzreport.net, where he discusses future trends. He also contributes to The Huffington Post on a regular basis. Distinguished Consulting Faculty of Saybrook University; Research Associate of the Laboratories for Basic Research's Cognitive Sciences Laboratory; Senior Samueli Fellow for Brain, Mind, and Healing of the Samueli Institute; Founder and Research Director of the Mobius Laboratory; Director of Research of the Rhine Research Center; and Senior Samueli Fellow for Brain, Mind, and Healing of the Samueli Institute Special Assistant for Research and Analysis to the Chief of Naval Operations and consultant to the Navy's Oceanographer are two government jobs.

Schwartz has spent the last 40 years researching the nature of consciousness and its function in social transformation, extraordinary human performance, social outcome research, and future trends. He is the leading researcher researching the application of distant viewing in archaeology and was part of the tiny group that launched current remote viewing research. He employs remote viewing to look into the future as well. He's been asking individuals to remote view the year 2050 since 1978, and the result has been a complicated trend study.

Other experimental areas of study for him include creativity, meditation, and Therapeutic Intent/Healing. Who's Who in the World, Who's Who in America, Who's Who in the West, and Who's Who in Science and Medicine all have him listed. Schwartz is the author of more than 130 technical studies and papers and has contributed to Smithsonian, OMNI, American History, American Heritage, The Washington Post, and The New York Times, among other publications. He has written four books: The Hidden Vaults of Time, The Alexandria Project, Opening to the Infinite, and The 8 Laws of Change, which won the 2016 Nautilus Book Award for Social Change.
