Anna Kendrick was born and reared in Portland, Maine, and made her Broadway debut at the age of twelve in the Tony-nominated musical High Society. She has made numerous theatrical appearances since her Academy Award-nominated portrayal as Natalie Keener in Up in the Air, including starring roles in Into the Woods, the Twilight saga, and the Pitch Perfect film franchise. Her triple-platinum hit song Cups (When I'm Gone), which was used in the film Pitch Perfect, helped her gain musical stardom in 2013. She currently resides in Los Angeles.
