All the Best by Roger Mcgough
A wonderful selection of over 100 of Roger's own best-loved poems from his vast Puffin catalogue of poetry collections. Lots of favourites and some lesser known surprises, too. Decorated by beautiful Lydia Monks illustrations throughout.
Roger McGough was born in Liverpool and educated at the University of Hull. He came to prominence in the 1960s with the publication of THE MERSEY SOUND, and is now one of our most popular poets. He writes for all ages and performs all over the world. He was honoured with an OBE in 1997 and won the Signal Poetry Award in 1998. Roger is heard regularly on radio and is now the regular presenter of Radio 4's POETRY PLEASE. Roger lives in London.
