All the Countries the Americans Have Ever Invaded by Christopher Kelly

Since its creation, the United States seems to have pushed the accelerator in the invasion category. This book sets out to find the facts. How many countries has America been militarily involved with, and what's it been doing in all these countries? It's an amazing story with quite a few surprises, and has huge implications for both Britain and the rest of the world in the twenty-first century. In this book, you'll read about: How the US, almost as soon as it came into existence, invaded the UK. How American 'Polar Bears' invaded Russia. The Pig War, the Watermelon War, the Tuna War and the Pastry War. The only three countries with which America has had no military involvement.
Christopher Kelly is the former Chairman of Chyron Corporation and a retired television executive. He has had a lifelong passion for military history, and many of his family have fought in previous American wars. He is a graduate of the University of California at Berkeley. Stuart Laycock has a degree from Cambridge University. He has worked in advertising, marketing and TV. Stuart has authored or co-authored a number of history books in the UK, including All the Countries We’ve ever Invaded and the Few we Never Got Round To and Unexpected Britain.
